Conservative Lawmaker Expounds on Fecal Matter

I am disgusted with the religious right, particularly New Hampshire representative Nancy Elliott, whose fascination with fecal matter should earn her a new nickname along the lines of Santorum.

Wiggling?

This is from Nancy Elliot's extended meditation on anal sex as her primary objection to same-sex marriage in N. H.:

I started thinking, and We're talking about taking the penis of one man and putting it in the rectum of another man, and wiggling it around in excrement, and you have to think.... hmmm, not sure, would I allow that to happen to me?

There's a certian irony in a politican being squeamish about "wiggling around" in excrement. I note, for those as anatomically ignorant as Ms. Elliot, that she's confusing the rectum with the colon. And there's no penis anywhere that can penetrate the colon (or the cervex).

That said, Ms. Nancy needs to go check her stats; CDC statistics suggest that men identifyng themselves as heterosexual are the ones primarily engaging in unprotected butt seks (yes, Nancy, the "wiggling about" does in fact suggest that someone is doing it wrong). Not gays. There's a certain logical fail in being all ewww about male-male sodomy, and completely ignoring male-female sodomy. Which, btw, is really common. Even more than it was in Kinsey's sample.

Also--personal to Nancy Elliot--did you know that guys piss out of the same hole that they use for semen? True fact. That right there is enough to gross out a lot of women. In fact, the male phallus is primarily designed as a urine-delivery system.

I do wish to note that for Ms. Elliot it is very clear that marriage = sexual congress.

She's pretty clearly gone right to marriage is a license to fornicate, and these are the allowable methods of said fornication.

In which case, I wonder--is she inadvertantly associating marriage with prostutitution?

There's a more information in this video about Nancy Elliot than there is about sodomy, or same-sex marriage.

And that's really unfortunate. So is the usual societal impulse to ignore women (yes Nancy, there really are lesbians).

Well said.

As far as I am concerned, none of what happens behind closed doors between consenting adults should be a lawmaker's concern.
