Viagra Sheets: Too Good to Be True

Too Good to Be True?I don’t believe this for a second, but of course, being the kind of person that I am, I had to pass it along. According to the Times of India (who doesn't seem very discerning in their news stories), there are now Viagra sheets, or will be soon.

Supposedly, the sheets (which I am not even sure exist) were inspired by a German study showing that men were over-tired after a hard (haha) day at the office and didn’t get quite as much sex as they would like. So, to solve the problem, Pep Torres “used nanotechnology to infuse the sex drug’s arousing ingredient into the fibres of a bed sheet”.

Sounds like wishful thinking to me.....shouldn’t the poor guys just get a prescription for Viagra instead? And would that really work for a woman? Methinks this story will soon be de-bunked.

And if there were really Viagra-infused sheets, that wouldn’t necessarily guarantee that a man would get more sex. Doesn’t the partner in question have something to say about that, too? When is the pharmaceutical industry going to recognize that it might be fruitful to address the same problem for women?
